The Coleman County Foundation was established in 1999 as a vehicle for Coleman County philanthropy. Assets are granted back to projects and causes that improve the quality of life for residents of Coleman County. Local grantmaking has supported volunteer fire departments, encouraged at-risk teens, and provided necessary medical equipment and services. Grants have enabled libraries and museums to make needed improvements and community gardens have flourished.
The “Friends of the Coleman County Foundation” is a unique group of couples and individuals who promote the work of the Foundation by building friendships and philanthropy. ‘Friend’ members, through an annual membership of $100 or more, pool their funds together to continually build the endowment and also provide grantmaking opportunities. Becoming part of this group is an easy way to make a difference in Coleman County.
All funds donated simply allow the Coleman County Foundation to do more! The needs of our neighbors outweigh the resources we have, and your gift will support local grantmaking, both now and in years to come. Thank you for considering a gift to the future of Coleman County!
