For almost 50 years, New Horizons has been providing a home and therapeutic services to children who suffer from emotional, behavioral, and attachment trauma due to physical and sexual abuse. We offer residential treatment centers for children, foster care, adoption, and free youth and family counseling. Our mission is to provide an environment where children, families and staff are able to heal and grow through caring relationships, unconditional love and acceptance.
New Horizons' Audrey Grace House is a residential treatment center for children, ages 5 to 17. The children who live at Audrey Grace have typically been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Due to the intense crisis they have experienced, these children have been emotionally traumatized and are unable to cope with the situation. This trauma typically displays itself through intense anger and irrational, destructive behaviors.
At Audrey Grace House, we seek to help a child heal from their trauma, to understand the what, why and how of their experiences, and how to properly express their feelings.
Children at Audrey Grace House live at our center for 9 to 12 months to receive counseling and therapy. We provide a home for 30 children at a time.
