Taylor Jones Humane Society is dedicated to solving the problems of Pet overpopulation and by providing a low cost spay/neuter Program in addition to pet adoption and education, promoting humane treatment and preventing cruelty to animals.
Dedicated to the protection and care of all Animals, the Taylor Jones Humane Society is an independent non-profit 501(c)3 no-kill Animal Shelter that has been serving Pets and their Humans in Taylor County since 1972. We rely exclusively on donations and fundraisers to help the lost, neglected, abused, and abandoned Animals of the greater Abilene area.
Our Spay/Neuter program is always in needs of funds. Currently, our finances allow us offer low cost vouchers once a month to the first 30 persons in line. We would like to be able to provide additional vouchers since there is such a high demand and our vouchers can also be used for TNR to help control the enormous Feral Pet population in the Abilene area.
Much needed upgrades to our outdoor Dog Exercise Area such as Shade and decomposed Granite, improvements to the Parking Area; a Wheelchair Ramp, better Flooring and an expanded Kennel Section to accommodate more Animals.
